Disclaimer

Use of the online service is voluntary. If you prefer you may obtain a new license or renew it in person at any DAR office. You may also renew by mail. Contact any DAR office to have a renewal application mailed to you.

If you are applying for a new or renewing the Commercial Marine License, Bait License, Commercial Aquarium Permit or Recreational Aquarium Permit, then this electronic renewal procedure requires you to provide your social security number (last four digits for renewal) and other personal information and complete the transaction using a credit card or checking account. The transaction is conducted on a secured server and uses encryption. If you choose not to provide your social security number or requested information, or do not want to use a credit card or electronic checking, please renew by mail or in person.

If you have not been in compliance with your commercial fishing report or commercial marine dealer report requirements, you may not renew online. You must submit all of your required reports to DAR for processing before you are eligible to renew the license.

After you complete the transaction process, for licenses with a fee, you will be able to print a receipt. All transactions submitted via Internet are processed as applications and are subject to verification. Except for the Aquaculture Facility License, either a card or license document will be mailed to you by the next three business days.
